I used to go to the hairsalon and spend hundreds of dollars to have my hair done but I soon learned how to handle it and to do my hair myself. I'm so happy to have found the courage to do it because I've been scared for a long time now because of how much hair I have. Nigeria: men tattoing their lips pink

­Speaking of beauty standards in different traditions and countries, some other people just decide to create their own kind of beauty. I've come across another article about weird beauty, this time about a new trend in Nigeria: men tattoing their lips pink.
Im gonna have to say I'm totally bluffed about that. Does anyone have an idea of what the purpose is for a man to have candy pink lips?? Yeah I heard it's sexy and Naija kings like D'banj have some very natural pink lips which I admit is very sexy, but it's not the case for everyone! Weird fashion? Or a new type of masculine beauty?

In this video the owner of the shop says he receives next to 10 costumers a day asking to have their lips tattoed in pink or red.

It seems like we women are'nt the only one inflicting ourselves some big time pain to get a self-defined new beauty. It costs 7000 to 8000 Naira (44.39$- 50.75$) to have them lips tattoed. The shop's owner doesn't seem bothered nor surprised anymore to have to do that lool he's getting his money what else does he need? By the time he gets more costumers but is this trend really going to expand? Are all men that courageaous to go at that extent for beauty? We girls can just use a lipstick but men have always been harsher than us in their ways.
