I used to go to the hairsalon and spend hundreds of dollars to have my hair done but I soon learned how to handle it and to do my hair myself. I'm so happy to have found the courage to do it because I've been scared for a long time now because of how much hair I have. It was difficult at first but now it has became an amazin and money saving experience for me. This is my blog for hair update every months... Different hairstyles for different experiences ...

Domestic violence : Nigerian women in crisis

I wrote yersteday about Naija men tattoing their lips in pink for the weird fashion sake, but one thing that remains probably the most untold is how many women there are victims of domestic violence. I know it happens everywhere all around the world but I've decided to blog about this country because I was chocked by the amount of news reviews and graphic pictures I saw relating what they are going through, and how some of them have shamelessly been killed. This might hurt some people sensitivity and I'm sorry, but this is the truth.

In 2011, the Nigerian High commissionner in Kenya and Seychelles, Dr. Chijioke Wilcox Wigwe beats his wife nearly to death, because of a minor argument. His wife, Mrs. Tess Iyi Wigwe, narrated, through her lawyer, Judy Thongori, that after beating her on11 May 2011 following the minor argument with the husband, she was seriously injuried on the face, neck, fingers and spinal cord and was only rescued by her 20-year-old son and 23-year-old daughter who rushed her to hospital while bleeding profusely. That was qualified as a national shame for the High commissionner, who's currently in custody.

The lady in this picture underneath is Tope Aduni Olabiwoninu Douherty, who as you can see was allegedly beaten up by Tunde Ologundudu her boyfriend. These are some of the things no one should keep silence about. No women deserve such treatment.

This horrible photo tells another husband-wife violent domestic act involving a Nigerian, Mr. Theophilus Ojukwu 46, and his wife, Melvina Ojukwu, 36. He used a hammer to bludgeon his wife while she was deaply asleep leaving her to a very painful agonizing death. He killed his wife in their 5400 block of Barcelona Drive home in Garland, Texas and has since been sentenced to life in prison.

There's so much more but this is all I can tell you cauz this is the more i can handle. Is there any way to protect these victims? Using violence as an excuse or not being able to show some respect for the being of these women... We live in a modern world and to see so many horrible things happen just gives me some big question marks. Weither they diserved it or no, no one should perpetrate such horrible treatment to God's creature.
