I used to go to the hairsalon and spend hundreds of dollars to have my hair done but I soon learned how to handle it and to do my hair myself. I'm so happy to have found the courage to do it because I've been scared for a long time now because of how much hair I have. It was difficult at first but now it has became an amazin and money saving experience for me. This is my blog for hair update every months... Different hairstyles for different experiences ...

Self made synthetic dreadlocks

Alright so I'm back!! Sorry for the laziness!! It's been almost 2 months since I've done this hairstyle and of course I was too lazy to actually publish it. But Imma do it now so here's the thing.

I saw these extensions and I said these might be great because they were longer than what I was planning to take.

This is what it looks like halfway... I didnt do no tutorial for this and since I've had this lots of people been asking me how I did it; well it's as simple as the word: I just wrapped the extensions around my hair all the way down!

And of course all black was like too dark so I added some colour! Sorry I didnt take the package on photo. But anyways this is the result!

Thanks a lot and stay tuned!! ^^

Self made Invisible part weave sew in (no glue)

Alright guys so Im back again! I did this almost two weeks ago but as lazy as I am I didnt post it (LOL) so I decided to do it today!
That hairstyle pretty much took me 8hours to achieve (yeah I know that's long). The whole braiding and sewing killed my arms! Sorry I didnt took the braids pattern in photo nor the weave in package! I just started taking pictures when I was starting the invisible part in the front so here it is!

Yeah that's where I was when I started taking pictures.

I know that's not the cleanest line nor the cleanest sewing but hey that was my first attempt so go slow on me xD

ONE SIDE DONE... FIOU THAT WAS A DRAAAGGGG...Especially when you dont want no glue in your hair -_______-''

As tired as I was I still had the ''Wonderfull idea'' to take a picture of the second part halfway done... ^^

Now the FINISHED PRODUCT including the closure and the ironing :D (Maannn that was hhaaaarrrdddd) :O But I did it! Im so glad I've been able to achieve it ^^

Yeah so this is my latest hairstyle ^^
Thanks for watching and stay tuned for the next one :):)

Self- made Crochet Braids

Alright so sorry for the long absence... I actually kept my latest braids for more than a month and I did a full treatment after that to strengthen my nappy hair. In an upcoming post I'll post you about my hair regiment and my hair growth adventure. So this is how I started my crochet braids. Sorry I didn't take any pictures of the package but I guess you'll still recognise them. Here's my braids pattern.

So this is how my braid pattern looks like and I had a pretty hard time parting the back and the sides because my hair is so tough to comb and I was suffering my life out to comb and braid it. I did it in roughly 30mins. To much time spend to comb and detangle them. Here's the finish product. Once again I didn't thought of taking a picture of the extension's package and I didn't take pictures of my hair halfwayeither! But anyways here's how it looks like.

A little bird at night told me: Why don't you go ''Honey Blonde'' for a change? And I DID! ^^
Hope you like it

Stay tunned ^^

Quick update on my rastas braids

Ok so hullo everyone! This is a quick update on my braids. They don't look as new as they were a couple of weeks ago but I added some extra accesories on them: wooden beading. So this is how it looks like

So this is how it looks like with the beadings. My hair started coming out already loool I wonder how long I'll be able to keep it ice until my own hair ruins the aspect of the braids. Anyways thanks for looking and stay tuned ^^

First attempt to self made rasta braids

Okay so this is my latest self made hairstyle: rasta braids.
This is the hairstyle I have feared for a long time now. Not only it's extremely long to make, you have to braid the shit till the end and my hair is massive!! Recession is hard lool so I took my courage, and I sat before my mirror to start the braiding. After 5 packs of X-Pression and 8 hours, this is the result.

I was supposed to put the ends in hot water but I never did lool.. I was too tired!! It took me a lot of effort to come to this result with the measuring of the extensions from the bottom to the top, the adjusting of the length everywhere... Ouf that was a lot of work but think God I think I succeeded even though the ends are still not fixed xD. And as usual I had time to take extra pictures in the process ^^

As you can see I parted my hair in lines and squares. I did it to be able to follow how I'm going and where I start and finish. It made it so much easier to go throught for me because if I did it in rounds instead I would've never  been able to finish it in 8 hours because when you do it without parting in lines you end up braiding one half of the head and when you turn around you notice that the other half of the head is still not done
#SMH loool

Thanks for following, more hairstyles to come ^^

Self made quick-weave

This a self made quick I've done on my head a year ago. It was like the second time I was posing my weave on my own so it took me life 3 hours to braid the cornrows and to sew the weave in. The package came with 5 bundles inside, the long one for the back, the mediums for the middle and the shorts for the front.

Like I said, it took me 3 hours to do the whole thing but I still had time to stop and take pictures in the process ^^

I'll say the closure was the most difficult part because it took me no less than 15 mins to complete it. But after that I was extremely proud of myself for achieving it ^^

Another very effective acné treatment: VICHY

Last time I posted about Proactiv, but this time is about VICHY.
There's a lot of differences between the products, and about the effectiveness, they both give some great results. You probably already heard of it and you can find it at any drugstore around the town.
The difference between Vichy and Proactiv is that, Proactiv is a very soft product that acts very softly and it takes no less than 2 weeks to see some accurate results. It's for all types of skin and you have to be very patient to notice some accurate changes.
So that with Vichy, the day you start using, you can already see some changes. Vichy is more rough and acts more quickly but you have to slow down a bit while using it. The cosmetician will tell you to use it twice a day, but honestly I use it once a day because if you go hard with the product on your face, trust me it will dry the hell out of your skin. The inconvenient with Vichy is that it's rough and it dries out skin easily because it's more accurate and more quick with results. But the positive is that it will give you results in less than a week, only if you use it at least once a day.
Now I'll tell you which products I use and how.

First I use the cleasing gel:
That's the first one I use and it smells like drug but hey it's a treatment lool
It looks like this. You can just use a tiny bit because you don't need a hudge quantity on you fingers.

After that, you use a clean towel to pat dry your skin and on to the Vichy Tonic
I just wanna precise that all the products I'm going to show you are all part of the Normaderm selection since Vichy have a lot of them.
So the tonic is the second step and it will clean the surface of your skin and leave it extremely soft on top showing the accuracy of the use of the cleansing gel.

And after that comes the hydrating cream. It's a very tiny bottle and like the other ones, a tiny bit will be enough.

After using all these tree products twice a day, if you feel your skin drying out a lot, use this hydrating cream in the morning before going out. It's gel that will protect your skin and hydrate it. As usual, just a tiny bit and only in the morning before you leave your house.

And last but not least, the exfoliating gel. I don't mention it last because it's not important at all, instead it's very very important. It's to be used twice a week and it helps removing the dead skin off your face. It's very effective and it will be extremely usefull.

Overall if you want some very quick results, you should use Vichy because form the first day, you will see some changes. Another trick: you remember the white cleansing brush I told you about in my last post about Proactiv? You should use it and it will be twice more effective because it will help the product penetrate your skin faster and clean deeper inside.
Give it a try.. This one will suit you well. Just slow down on it ^^
